The procedure of a helicopter purchase depends on whether a new or pre-owned aircraft is bought.

In itself the procedure is lengthy and complicated, expert advice is required during the whole purchasing process, starting from the discussion and selection of necessary equipment up to solution of all organization issues.

Helicopters shall comply with IAC (the Interstate Aviation Committee) Russian requirements, thus purchasing of a new or pre-owned aircraft shall be subject to audit (e.g., control of equipment compliance with IAC data list or search for possible hidden engine, gearbox or structure defects, as the visual inspection may often not be enough).
